Suspect Arrested in Connection with March 3rd Robbery of Pharmacy in Cedar Lake Plaza

Loudoun County, VA –Loudoun County Sheriff's Investigators have arrested a 57-year-old man in connection with the March 3rd robbery of a Sterling, Virginia pharmacy

William R. Gosney, of no fixed address, was taken into custody Wednesday and is charged with robbery. He is accused of entering the Rite Aid Pharmacy located in the 46900 block of Cedar Lake Plaza shortly before 10AM. The suspect approached the pharmacy counter, implied he had a weapon, and demanded prescription medication. The suspect left the scene with an undisclosed amount of prescription medication.

Gosney remains held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.
